This small-bodied, 1-2 m long, predatory dinosaur is known on the basis of a few limb bones. These fossils, however, are of great inportance in the aspects of the paleobiogeography of the group. They further strengthens the earlier hypothesis that various dinosaur clades originated in southern, Gondwanan continents (South America, Africa) including abelisaurids conquested the European archipelago. When and which of the islands they reached, is still unknown. On the land of the Late Cretaceous Bakony, however, they were present.
